David Herscovici (who I met over a chessboard in Monterey, CA) introduced me to Medge the same day he introduced me to Emily. Emily and I had a very intense, but brief, relationship. My friendship with Medge has done much better. These pictures were taken within a few days of Medge arriving in the bay area to work on his new start-up, which is still a going affair, believe it or not. These pictures were taken in Oakland's Jack London Square.
