Up

This is my vantage point for watching the Louis Vuitton Cup and America's Cup races. You can see across the Hauraki Gulf to Rangitoto Island in the distance. I've got my Therm-A-Rest seat, which is really just some fabric and a frame and a couple of straps - the main support comes from the air pad inserted inside. I've got my radio which covers the band used by TV1 and OneSport so I can listen to what's going on. Behind the radio is the detachable bum bag (aka fanny pack in the USA) which usually has some papers, bus schedules, camera and lunch inside. Then there's my Nalgene water bottle and the yellow blob is my rain shell in case the weather gets bad. It was a hazy day and racing hadn't started yet, so you can't see any boats.
